HELL IS REAL: A Midwest Gothic Anthology is for the punks, the would-be astronauts, and the smalltown cryptids.

We seek published and unpublished works set in the Midwest. (That's Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Nebraska, Ohio, South Dakota, Wisconsin, and arguably Kentucky.) We especially welcome works set in rural areas, works centering marginalized Midwesterners, and works with religious themes—based on any faiths, not just the Bible-Belt's familiar Christianity, so long as there is some connection to the Midwest.

Subs opened August 1st, 2021. Subs closed December 1st, 2021.
Preorders open August 1st, 2022.
